Scunthorpe currently sit 5^th in the National League and are sitting in the play-off spots, whilst Hartlepool sit 9^th and are looking to climb into the play-off positions.

Final Thoughts

With Hartlepool conceding seven in their last outing, it can be expected that their priority in this match will be to keep things tight at the back and limit Scunthorpe’s chances.

Scunthorpe will need to watch out for Hartlepool’s Alex Reid, who has scored 11 goals so far this season and is the visitors’ top scorer.

Hartlepool have changed formations regularly this season, so it is hard to predict how they will shape up against Scunthorpe. However, after the result against Wealdstone, it would not be a surprise if they change to a back five to help strengthen their defence.
