Scunthorpe United can confirm that Goalkeeper Maison Campbell has extended his loan spell with Bradford Park Avenue until the end of the season.
Campbell originally joined the Iron on loan from York City to play as backup to then-goalie Ross Fitzsimons. During his initial spell, Campbell made two appearances for the Iron in the 2023-24 season, assisting in guiding the side to the final of the Lincolnshire Senior Cup in wins over Gainsborough Trinity and Cleethorpes Town.
Following the completion of a permanent transfer to United ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, Campbell featured on a number of occasions in several respective cup competitions across the course of the season, gaining valuable experience in the process. Following the departure of Fitzsimons to Northampton Town at the end of United's promotion-winning National League North season, manager Andy Butler would opt to give Campbell the number one shirt ahead of the 2025-26 National League season.
So far this campaign, Campbell started the season between the sticks for United, making six appearances in all competitions before picking up an injury in September that kept him sidelined until recently. Since joining the Avenue, Campbell has been an instant success in the Northern Premier League One East, keeping three clean sheets in his first four games for the club, including a penalty save in his side's most recent 3-0 victory over Newton Aycliffe.
Keep smashing it, Mais!
