We've got a whole afternoon of entertainment in store in the build-up to this weekend's game!
That's right, the marquee is back up and out ahead of this weekend's home league encounter with Altrincham, with Community Day in full flow from just after midday.
Once again, our popular outside performance area will be buzzing with activity as we showcase some of the fantastic talent from across the local community. With live entertainment beginning from 12.15pm and running right through until just 15 minutes before kick-off, there’s plenty to enjoy as you soak up the pre-match atmosphere.
Whether you’re arriving early for a drink with friends or bringing the family down for the afternoon, the marquee stage will provide a lively soundtrack to the build-up as we celebrate local performers from across the region.
Here’s what’s coming up in our marquee:
12.15pm – 1.00pm: EM-B!
Kicking things off in style, EM-B! will open the afternoon with an energetic performance to get the crowd warmed up and the matchday atmosphere flowing.
1.30pm – 1.45pm: Fusion Cheerleading
Bringing colour, energy and impressive routines to the stage, Fusion Cheerleading will deliver a lively performance packed with spirit and enthusiasm.
2.15pm – 3.00pm: The Common
Local favourites The Common will take to the stage with their live set, providing the perfect musical build-up as the anticipation ahead of kick-off begins to grow.
3.30pm – 3.45pm: Gainsborough Music Theatre Society
Showcasing their theatrical flair and vocal talent, the Gainsborough Music Theatre Society will bring a touch of magic to the afternoon’s entertainment.
4.15pm – 5.15pm: The Dominos
Rounding off the day’s performances prior to the first whistle, The Dominos will keep the good times rolling with a lively pre-match set, perfectly setting you up for kick-off.
Throughout the afternoon, during changeovers and between performances, DJ Ian MacDonald will be keeping the atmosphere alive with a mix of tunes to ensure there’s never a dull moment around the marquee.
