Scunthorpe United is pleased to confirm that versatile youngster Harry Shipstone has agreed non-contract terms with the club ahead of the new season.
After being with the club from pre-season 12 months ago, Shipstone continues with the club on terms which will allow him to dual register with another side, something which saw success for him in 2025-26 as he predominantly featured with Skegness Town.
The 19-year-old, who was originally a trialist at the Attis Arena last summer, first penned a dual registration agreement with the Iron and then-NCEL side Beverley Town last October in order for him to feature in our National League Cup encounter against Middlesbrough Under-21s.
Throughout his time at the club, Shipstone has impressed manager Andy Butler, and was handed his professional league debut at the end of last season as a substitute against Eastleigh in the National League.
Last season, as well as a dual registration with the Beavers and Skegness, he was formerly at Bottesford Town for a short time. For the Iron, he made a total of five substitute appearances in all competitions, playing a total of 134 minutes in claret and blue.
Dual registering with the Iron will enable Shipstone to continue training full time with the club, continue his development with match minutes elsewhere, but also have the ability and autonomy to be called upon for the first team at any time, in any competition.
Keep smashing it, Harry!
