Team News: Morecambe (A)

Starting 2026 with an FA Trophy victory in midweek, the Iron return to League action this afternoon to face Morecambe at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, with Manager Andy Butler making just a single change from United's latest League fixture against Gateshead.

The alteration comes in the form of a first start for the club for wide-man Kyle Hurst, who comes straight into the side after joining the club on loan from Doncaster Rovers to replace fellow forward Declan Howe, who drops to the bench. Elsewhere, there are some positive inclusions on the bench for Scunthorpe with Will Evans and Alfie Beestin back in a league match day squad after featuring against Clitheroe.

ℹ️ Unfortunately, despite all paperwork being completed and submitted at our end on time, international clearance has not yet been received for Connor Smith. Therefore, he isn’t included in today’s squad.
