Statistical Preview: Morecambe vs Scunthorpe United
Scunthorpe go into this fixture on a great run of form, having won their last four games they reside in the National League play-off positions. Morecambe, on the other hand, have only won one of their last five games and are looking to climb out of the relegation zone.

Despite currently sitting in the relegation zone, Morecambe have seen a lot of the ball so far this season, with an average ball possession of 55.4%. In comparison, Scunthorpe have had an average ball possession of 49.2%.
However, when out of possession, Morecambe have been a lot less on the front foot with a PPDA (Passes per Defensive Action) of 13.14. Scunthorpe sit at the other end of the table when it comes to pressing statistics, with a PPDA of 9.6,8 which shows they have been a lot more intense off the ball.
Morecambe have regularly lined up in a 4-5-1 this season, but have occasionally switched to a 3-4-3, so it will be intriguing to see how they shape up against an in-form Scunthorpe, who have played a 4-3-3 for the majority this season.
