Scunthorpe United can confirm the loan departure of versatile midfielder Max Brogan, who joins National League side Leamington on an initial 28-day loan deal.
After joining United in the summer of 2024 on an initial one-year deal, Brogan would see the option in his contract activated in the summer, extending his spell at the club for the 2025-26 season.
Since he arrived from Solihull Moors, Brogan has made 33 appearances for the club, scoring three times, with his first two goals coming either side of his loan spell with Telford United earlier this year, during which he gained promotion twice in the same season with both the Iron and the Bucks.
So far this season, Max has been made to be patient for opportunities, playing the majority of his games in the National League Cup, along with a singular goal during United's 5-0 thrashing of Peterborough Sports in the FA Trophy. A loan spell with Northern Premier League side Cleethorpes Town in November would see some regular minutes in the tank for Brogan, which he will be looking to build on over the coming month with the Brakes.
All the best, Max!
