Scunthorpe United can confirm the departure of attacking midfielder Dubem Eze has been recalled from his loan spell by parent club Bolton Wanderers in order for him to join Sutton United on a permanent basis.

Joining the Iron in the summer, looking to add to his previous loan experiences with Chorley and FC Halifax Town, Eze made an electric start to life in claret and blue with an impressive pre-season campaign, getting an assist against Bottesford Town.

However, Eze struggled to adapt to life in the Enterprise National League with the Iron, featuring in just three league matches. Despite this, Eze still enjoyed a positive campaign in the National League Cup, playing four matches and getting one assist before opening his account for the club in United's 5-0 FA Trophy victory over Peterborough Sports, in which he scored twice.

We thank Dubem for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him all the best for the future.
