Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce an enhanced partnership with DAZN, which will see the Iron featured prominently across the platform throughout the 2026-27 season.
Selected alongside fellow Enterprise National League side Southend United to form part of an exciting new project, Scunthorpe United will be at the heart of a series of regular short-form episodes, offering supporters an unprecedented look behind the scenes at the Attis Arena.
The series will provide a more personal and human insight into life at the Iron, going beyond the action on the pitch to showcase the people, stories and moments that make up a football club. Supporters will be given access to areas and experiences that would otherwise remain unseen, bringing them closer to the players, staff and wider club than ever before.
DAZN, who hold the broadcasting rights to the Enterprise National League, will be working closely with the club throughout the season to bring these stories to life, with the first instalment of 'Forged in Iron' now available on the platform.
The opening episode captures a memorable period for the club, featuring footage from our United by Steel Gala Day, the Legends encounter, and the build-up to the Iron's first home league fixture of the campaign against Yeovil Town last week. It provides a unique perspective on the preparation, personalities and emotion surrounding a matchday at the Attis Arena.
And this is only the beginning. As the season progresses, the series will continue to follow key storylines from around the club, with the next instalment set to focus on the highly anticipated first meeting between Scunthorpe United and Southend United this weekend.
The occasion will receive enhanced coverage from DAZN, with a dedicated production crew following both teams throughout the matchday. From the build-up at the hotel and the journey to the ground, through preparations inside the stadium and all the way across the match itself, viewers will be given a level of access rarely seen behind the scenes of an Enterprise National League fixture.
Alongside the wider matchday story, the second episode will also feature snippets and moments from throughout the game, capturing the atmosphere, tension and drama as the two featured clubs go head-to-head for the first time this season.
The partnership represents an exciting opportunity to showcase Scunthorpe United to an even wider audience, while giving our supporters a fresh perspective on the club they love.
With plenty more stories still to come, 'Forged in Iron' will continue to follow the journey of the Iron throughout 2026-27, both on and off the pitch.
