Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce the re-signing of forward Tyrell Sellars-Fleming on loan from Hull City on an initial one-month deal.
A product of the Iron’s youth academy, Sellars-Fleming departed the club to join the Tigers in 2023 with just a handful of first team appearances under his belt. However, the prolific forward’s goals at youth level spoke for themselves building him a reputation that caught the eye of Hull.
Since making the move to the MKM Stadium, Sellars-Fleming has been consistently involved in the club’s first-team squad making nine appearances over the last two seasons. Putting pen to paper on a new three-year contract in November 2024, Tyrell has finished as Hull’s U21’s top scorer two years on the bounce with an impressive return of 27 goals in two seasons.
In order to gain valuable men’s minutes, Sellars-Fleming spent the latter half of the 2024-25 season on loan with fellow National league side Gateshead FC. During his time with the Heed he would play 15 times with the majority of his appearances from the bench, over the course of this loan spell he would get five goal contributions as Gateshead narrowly missed out on a play-off position.
