The Iron will make another long trip to the south coast to replay the Enterprise National League encounter against Eastleigh on Tuesday, October 21st (7.45pm kick-off), after it was determined that the game should be replayed in full, with tickets now on sale for the rearranged game.

The original game was abandoned due to serious head injuries between the Iron’s Jean Belehouan and the Spitfires’ Archie Harris on Tuesday 2 September, with the league deciding that the game is to be replayed in accordance with League Rule 8.37.

The Enterprise National League has also issued specific guidance regarding the revenue arrangements for the replayed fixture, with all spectators required to purchase again for the new date, similar to the Iron's abandoned rematch with Buxton a couple of years ago.

210 Iron supporters made the long trip down south for that particular encounter, and we are massively grateful for that support, and hope to see as many, if not more, make the rearranged date in just over a month's time.

Sales are directly from Eastleigh's website for the encounter at the Silverlake Stadium, with the only previous meeting between the sides at the stadium, other than the one which will no longer count, coming in November 2022 where a Vincent Harper second half brace earned the Spitfires all three points.

The Iron have been handed a small allocation in the South Stand, with FanBase the ticketing provider, meaning you can log into your account and purchase.
