Rochdale encounter postponed due to waterlogged

Tonight's scheduled Enterprise National League encounter away at Rochdale has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

A statement, shared by our opponents, reads as follows:

A local, qualified referee carried out a second inspection at 2pm today and deemed areas of the pitch to be in an unplayable condition.

With the forecast rainfall in mind, we share the opinion that the affected areas will not dry sufficiently ahead of kick-off.

Therefore, in agreement with Scunthorpe and The National League, a decision has been taken to postpone the match.

We apologise to supporters for any inconvenience. A rearranged date for the game will be announced in due course.
