Scunthorpe United is once again proud to be supporting Lindsey Lodge Hospice in January 2026, as they launch their month-long fitness challenge to raise much-needed funds.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare has launched its ‘Jog on January’ fitness challenge for the fifth year running in a bid to motivate people to be active for 31 days and raise vital funds to help it continue to support local patients and their families who are living with a life limiting illness.
Scunthorpe United's First Team Manager Andy Butler will lead the campaign this month, along with General Manager James Moody, while another six staff members have also signed up this January, with Glyn Sparks, Martin Hopper, Jake Pullan, Devon Riley taking part from the office, while Ash Slawson and Rosie Margetson from the club's backroom staff also getting involved.
The challenge is simple, achievable, and flexible for a fresh start: commit to complete a total of 30 miles over 30 days.
We know no one wants to spend New Year’s day exercising, so your challenge doesn’t have to start on January 2nd!
Your Pace, Your Way: Break down the distance however you like—a mile a day, two miles every other day, or longer weekend efforts.
For your registration fee, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to feel supported and show off your achievement:
We ask each participant to set a personal fundraising goal of at least £30. This symbolic target aligns perfectly with the 30 miles you’ll cover. Every pound you raise provides essential care to patients and families supported by Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
Sign up today and let’s get moving! To sign up, please visit www.lindseylodgehospice.org.uk email [email protected], or ring the Lindsey Lodge Fundraising Team on 01724 270835.
