DIY SOS SUFC - Landscaping

Scunthorpe United Football Club is calling on fans, local tradespeople, and community volunteers to lend a hand in the next stage of its ongoing ground improvement project, with a continuation of our DIY SOS SUFC initiative.

The club has been in receipt of a number of tradespeople lending support to their local side in the shape of supplies or manpower to complete a number of jobs over the last couple of years, something that has been wholly appreciated by the Board, staff, players and supporters.

This also extends to the brilliant cohort of volunteers we have here at the Attis Arena, who continually give their time, and work with us continually to not only tidy our stadium, but to improve it week after week.

As part of the club’s ongoing efforts to enhance the Attis Arena, improving the grounds visually, we are seeking volunteers to help remove existing hedges which separates the car park from the entrance with the motive to install sleepers, which will not only tidy up the grounds but also provide a new opportunity for advertising boards to boost the club’s commercial appeal.

This community-led initiative aims to make a visible difference to our club’s home, as we look to continuously improve all aspects where we can.
