Promotion Final ticketing details and sale windows for Chester clash

Scunthorpe United can now confirm the ticketing details and sale windows for the Iron's Promotion Final encounter against Chester on Sunday, May 18th (4pm kick-off).

The Attis Arena will host the showdown against the Seals, who beat Kidderminster Harriers 2-1 in the promotion semi-final last weekend, after overcoming Buxton in the play-off eliminator the midweek prior.

Ticket information has been confirmed ahead of the game, with the allocation going on sale via sufctickets.com at 2pm on Wednesday, May 7th.

The one-off match at the Attis Arena to gain promotion to the National League will see the Iron look to emulate March's Community Day, where they ran out 3-1 victors over their Promotion Final opposition.

It is important to note that we are hosting the Promotion Final on behalf of the National League and, although we are playing the game at home, it is defined as the league's fixture, and therefore there are no discounted, group booking or complimentary tickets available.

As per league rule, 7.1, clubs may not reduce their normal National League Admission charges in these matches, and these prices have been agreed by the National League, the Iron and Chester.

Please note, tickets will initially go on sale in-person to season ticket holders only, granting those supporters the opportunity to get their tickets in advance with lower queues. Please see below for more details.

SEASON TICKET HOLDERS

Season ticket holders will have their seats reserved until 4pm on Monday, May 12th. After this time, all seats will be released, and will be available for purchase.

Season ticket holders will have a priority window in-store on Thursday, May 8th, Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th, with tickets going on general sale online from 2pm on Saturday, May 10th, and in-store on Monday, May 12th.

As season tickets only include the 23 league games of the season, all season ticket holders will have to purchase this fixture as an add-on to their package.

GENERAL SALE

General sale will take place over two separate waves of restrictions...

WAVE ONE - From 6am on Saturday, May 10th online and from 10am on online
General sale phase one will only be applicable to accounts on our system who have purchased and attended a total of at least five home league games in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons combined. Tickets must have been purchased on the account you are trying to buy with, either in-store or online. A maximum of four tickets per person is permitted on general sale.

WAVE TWO - From 4pm on Tuesday, May 13th online and from 10am on Wednesday, May 14th in-store
General sale phase two will only be applicable to accounts on our system who have purchased and attended at least one home league game over the course of the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons combined. Tickets must have been purchased on the account you are trying to buy with, either in-store or online. A maximum of four tickets per person is permitted on general sale.

EXILED SUPPORTERS

Scunthorpe United is aware there will be a small percentage of supporters who are exiled fans of the club, and as such will not have attended a home game over the last couple of seasons, but still have a ticketing history with the club.

Any supporters with an account created prior to the start of the 2024-25 season with past ticketing history will be eligible to purchase tickets through wave two of the general sale, but will have to contact our ticket office directly for these sales, as this option cannot be made available online.

We will be opening the ticket office on Wednesday in the build-up to the game, as a result of the quick turnaround for the fixture.

The easiest way is to avoid the queues and book online at www.sufctickets.com. If you are a season ticket holder looking to book online then you will need to log into your account and then select your seat. Please note, for booking online, supporters will have to log into each relevant account for booking tickets.

Please be aware that due to limited phone lines, the best option will be to book online or visit the ticket office in person as priority will go to supporters who are at the Attis Arena in person.

CAR PARKING

Season ticket holders for the West Car Park will be admitted to the stadium grounds for free as a goodwill gesture for your support, however due to the nature of the game, it is impossible to guarantee all supporters a space in their usual area.

We would encourage supporters to arrive early to get your space, although alternative provision will be provided, subject to availability, within the East Car Park, should the west side fill up.

WHAT IS A LOYALTY POINT?

One loyalty point has been allocated to every supporter per game who has attended games in then 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons under their account. For example, a supporter who has attended every league game under their account across both seasons will have 46 points.

Please note, loyalty points have also been allocated for our play-off semi-final against Boston United last season, and Chorley this season - and an additional point has been added for the replayed fixture against Buxton in the 2023-24 campaign.
