Are you passionate about Scunthorpe United? Do you have strong opinions on the operational side of the club, including what happens day-to-day and on a matchday behind the scenes? This is your chance to be the official voice of the fans!
Essentially, you are the bridge between the fans and the club.
We’re looking for three passionate supporters to represent the fans and share their opinions at Scunthorpe United. As the voice of the fans, you’ll have a unique opportunity to engage with the club, be directly part of our journey, and communicate fan sentiments, ideas, and concerns directly to the team, which will be headed up by Chair and co-owner Michelle Harness.
What we’re looking for:
- A dedicated Scunthorpe United supporter with a strong understanding of the club’s history and values
- Someone who can communicate effectively and engage with our fanbase to ascertain areas where the club can improve, and present them to the club
- A creative thinker who can help shape fan engagement and boost the club’s progression
- Passion for the club and its community, along with a willingness to represent all supporters’ views
As the voice of the fans, you will:
- Gather and share the opinions, concerns, ideas, and feedback from the fanbase with the club’s management, staff, and other stakeholders
- Help shape and lead fan-driven campaigns
- Represent the voice of the fans, assist on making decisions at the club by feeding back a representative view of our fanbase
- Work closely with the club to keep the spirit of the fans alive in every corner of the community
Our mission:
- Promoting supporter interests: Advocating for changes or improvements that benefit the fans, such as better matchday experiences, supporter-focused promotions, or new ways to enhance the connection Scunthorpe United and our brilliant fanbase
- Engaging with our supporters: Creating and maintaining conversations with fans, making sure our supporters continue to be heard and valued
- Hearing from the fans, from a fan: Sharing those opinions, whether positive or negative, with the club in a way that is constructive. This could be about club decisions, or even suggestions for improving the fan experience
- Listening, and acting: We want to have a real understanding of what fans are saying, and what they want implementing, and capturing the general sentiment of the supporter base
