Scunthorpe United is excited to link up with FanBase ahead of the 2025-26 season as our new ticketing provider.
With this move, supporters of the Iron now have access to a new digital platform that brings tickets, hospitality, club news and more together in one place. Whether on mobile, tablet or desktop, fans can easily stay connected to the club. Tickets can be purchased in seconds and stored in Apple or Google Wallet for quick and convenient matchday entry.
For the club, Fanbase provides access to fan insights and communication tools, making it easier to engage with supporters and grow the fanbase. Built-in analytics help Scunthorpe track campaign performance and make informed, data-driven decisions.
The platform also creates new commercial opportunities through integrated sponsorship placements in the app’s newsfeed and match centre, helping the club connect partners with its audience.
Match tickets for the eagerly anticipated 2025-26 National League campaign will be the first to go on sale via Fanbase very soon.
Jerome McCarthy, Head of Growth at FanBase, said: "We’re delighted to add to the momentum we have in the National League and welcome a giant at this level to our roster. The club has had some tough times in recent years and has maintained an extremely loyal fanbase.
"After meeting the team behind the scenes, we instantly connected and saw how passionate there are about driving the club forward and taking the fan experience to the next level. That’s why we’re incredibly excited to get started with Scunthorpe United."
CEO, Matt Roberts, added: “This new partnership with Fanbase is a significant step forward for us as we look to improve our fan experience and build an effective digital marketing strategy for the club.
"As well as a smoother ticketing journey for fans, for the first time we will have a CRM system that integrates data across our retail, hospitality and ticketing operations, giving us an unprecedented understanding of our supporters that will allow us to upsell and create new sponsorship opportunities.”
