Iron midfielder Jason Law has joined Southern League Premier Central outfit Spalding United on an initial one-month loan deal.
Law joins the Tulips to link back up with former Scunthorpe boss Jimmy Dean in search of regular minutes after his so far injury plagued spell with Scunthorpe.
After his arrival in the summer of 2023 following his release from boyhood club Mansfield Town, Law has only been able to show glimpses of his undoubtable talent over the 24 games he’s played in claret and blue.
During his spell, the attacking midfielder has netted two goals for the club with one coming on Boxing Day of 2023 when he scored a fabulous solo goal to help Scunthorpe triumph over Farsley Celtic at the Attis Arena.
After picking up an injury to his thigh in the early stages of this campaign and then several further pushbacks in between that and full recovery, Law has struggled to string together consistent minutes this campaign and has only made eight substitute appearances hence a loan spell with play-off pushing Spalding for guaranteed football could prove crucial.
We wish ‘Lawsy’ the best of his luck for his spell away from the Attis Arena.
