Scunthorpe United Football Club is delighted to unveil an exciting new addition to our festive calendar; a brand-new Christmas Market, set to take place on the stadium footprint this December.
Designed to bring festive cheer, family fun, and a vibrant seasonal atmosphere to both supporters and the wider community, this three-day event promises to become a highlight of the local Christmas season.
Running from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st December, entry is FREE*, with the area outside the Wroot Homes Iron Bar transformed into a winter-themed festive marketplace, complete with decorated stalls, and a warm, welcoming ambience. A wonderful selection of local traders will be offering handcrafted gifts, festive foods, artisan goods, and unique Christmas treats, providing the perfect opportunity to pick up last-minute presents or simply enjoy a seasonal stroll.
But the Christmas Market is about more than shopping. Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages, including festive music, children’s attractions including a Santa's Grotto, hot food and drink, and plenty of opportunities to get into the Christmas spirit. The Wroot Homes Iron Bar will also be open during all market hours, offering live entertainment, a cosy place to relax, and the chance to purchase club merchandise and a range of beverages.
Whether you're joining us with family, meeting friends, or simply soaking up the festive atmosphere, we look forward to welcoming you to our very first Scunthorpe United Christmas Market.
*Entry to the Christmas Market is free, however there will be a £3 charge per car to park in the club's car park
