Scunthorpe United can confirmed attacker Billy Chadwick has returned to parent club York City.
Chadwick made a total of five starts and six substitute appearances in all competitions during his time at the club, registering a single goal. Of those appearances, two starts and five substitute appearances came in the league.
His only competitive goal for the club came in the 4-0 win over Truro City back in September when his got a touch on an Alfie Beestin strike, which was initially credited to the Iron’s number eight before being switched to the loan player. He also netted in the Iron’s pre-season win over Alfreton Town.
Chadwick returns to the Minstermen, who continue to challenge the Iron and others at the top end of the National League - a side he played numerous times for last season during their promotion push.
We’d like to wish Billy all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts while at the club.
