Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce a new chapter in our longstanding relationship with Jason Threadgold Funeral Director as they take a stand sponsorship package ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The West Stand, last season known as the Vertikal Stand, will now be known as the Threadgold Stand.
The club's partnership with Jason Threadgold Funeral Director has blossomed in recent seasons, with their most recent package seeing them displayed proudly on the front of the first team training wear, along with sponsoring our training ground.
Nichola and Jason Threadgold, founders of Jason Threadgold Funeral Director, said: "This exciting partnership marks a meaningful moment for our family-run business, which has always placed the community at the heart of everything we do. As lifelong supporters of Scunthorpe United, we know how much the club means to the people of this town.
"We are truly honoured to put our name to such an iconic part of the stadium. Scunthorpe United has always represented strength, resilience, and togetherness—values we hold dearly within our own business.
"It is a privilege to be able to support the Iron in this way and to play a small part in preserving the spirit, passion, and tradition of local football. The Threadgold Stand is not just a name; it’s a symbol of our shared pride in this town and its future."
Head of Partnerships, Glyn Sparks, added: "We are delighted that Jason and Nichola have decided to enhance their package with us ahead of the new season, continuing their fantastic support of the football club.
"The main stand at the Attis Arena is a synonymous one, and has taken a number of different names since being built in 1988. The Threadgold Stand will hopefully be one remembered as being part of another successful season for the club."
