Scunthorpe Place Lab launches this Friday

Involving co-owner and Director Ian Sharp, the first-ever Scunthorpe Place Lab - building connections and starting a conversation about what sort of future we want for our town, takes place on Friday.

Scunthorpe Tomorrow is a network of people who are passionate about Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire. Through building on our strengths, we are committed to helping deliver a better future for our community.

Their objectives are to:

• Build connections and start a conversation about the opportunities and challenges facing our area.
  

Drive action through connecting local projects with people who can help.

Change the narrative about what is possible and showcase great things happening in our community.

They aim to do this by:

• Connecting – Helping people to come together and be part of a conversation about the future of our community through regular networking events.

• Promoting – Providing a forum to socialise good things happening locally and test new ideas, and connecting these to the skills and experience of our network.

• Leading – Delivering projects directly ourselves where our skills and experience can help respond to a need or opportunity locally.

They are open to everyone with a connection to Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire.

Their members attend in a personal capacity and bring different backgrounds, experience and skills but share a common love for our area and belief in its future.
