Left-back Tyler Denton, midfielder Jacob Butterfield and forward Danny Whitehall were all including in the 11-man team, which was announced by the league at the weekend.
All inclusions in the team are voted for by the teams in the league, with each side able to name a choice of their XI (not including anyone from their own team).
Denton, who arrived from King's Lynn, was a near ever present in the Iron defence, part of a number of clean sheets across the campaign. Meanwhile, Butterfield's second year with United saw him notch a number of screamers and a number of assists throughout. Striker Whitehall ended the year as Scunthorpe's top goalscorer with 21 goals to his name.
