Midfielder Fin Shrimpton has had his loan spell with fellow National League North side Spennymoor Town extended until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has made a total of 16 appearances for the Iron this season, inclusive of five starts, scoring twice, netting in the wins over Scarborough Athletic and Farsley Celtic, while also netting a further goal in pre-season against Hull City. In total, he's made 38 competitive appearances for the club in all competitions.
Throughout his time at Scunthorpe, since graduating from the academy, he's enjoyed loan spells at Cleethorpes Town and Gainsborough Trinity.
The nature of the extension now means the Iron have a 24-hour recall on the loan deal.
