Abey Engineering Solutions confirmed as back of shirt sponsors for 2024-25

Scunthorpe United Football Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with Abey Engineering Solutions Limited, who will become the club’s back of shirt sponsors for the 2024-25 season.

The Scunthorpe-based company replace Fabricast Group Limited who enjoyed a partnership with the club last season.

Abey Engineering Solutions provide a wide range of fabricated metal products for domestic and commercial customers. They are a well-established company with a fantastic reputation for quality and value for money. They can take care of bespoke beams, cranks and lintels and any fabrication needs for small house extensions through to full warehouse builds and erection.

The new partnership will see their logo on all three of the Iron’s new kits for the forthcoming season, displayed just above the name and number of each player.

Chris and Mark Abey, Directors of Abey Engineering Solutions, said: “We grew up in Crosby, a stone’s throw from the Old Show Ground, and went to school at Hendy Ave Primary where we watched the Old Show Ground being demolished from the school field. To have the opportunity to sponsor our childhood team in not only it’s 125th anniversary year, but also in effect the year of the re-birth of the club is an honour, and one we’re very proud of.
