Iron form partnership with local Currys store

Scunthorpe United is delighted to be working in partnership with our local Currys store.

The branch, based at Unit 1, Lakeside Retail Park, Scunthorpe DN16 3UA, they offer huge savings on TVs, washing machines, laptops, headphones, gaming, phones and more.

Both entities will be working hand-in-hand to support various initiatives, with Currys working in conjunction with charities and schools, something the club will be assisting with. Meanwhile, Currys has been fantastic in supporting the football club with new appliances for the Attis Arena.

Head of Partnerships at the Iron, Glyn Sparks, said: “It is great to form a new partnership with Currys Scunthorpe.

"Once we sat down with Richard to discuss numerous possibilities regarding how we can support each other, both now and in the future, especially considering they work with so many local schools and charities, it made complete sense to work together.

"We are really excited at plans we have to grow the partnership into 2025 and beyond.”

Meanwhile, Richard Goodwin, General Manager of Currys Scunthorpe, added: "Currys Scunthorpe are pleased to be "Winning Locally" in partnership with Scunthorpe United Football Club, and thank them for their generosity in assisting Currys to help local schools and charities. 

"Together, we are assisting worthy causes to fundraise and reward families in the community support our local club."
