Paul Ward the special guest in our restaurant this weekend ahead of Chorley clash

Former Iron midfielder Paul Ward is confirmed to be a special guest speaker in the Attis Arena restaurant for our latest encounter with Chorley on Saturday, August 24th (3pm kick-off).

The former Chelsea youth player, who also represented Middlesbrough, Darlington and Leyton Orient before joining the club in 1989, will take part in a pre-match question and answer session before kick-off in our hospitality area.

During his two-year stay at the club, he made 55 appearances, scoring six goals, before he finished his professional career with Lincoln City.

Since finishing playing, his management career took him from Darlington to Hatfield Main, Harrogate Town, Armthorpe Welfare and Retford United, while he also owns and runs a health fitness club in Doncaster, which he opened in 1994.

For season ticket holders, supporters can choose to move their seats for the game to the padded restaurant seats or they can remain in their normal seat or the terracing. In the event of the latter, a voucher can be provided for tea and coffee at half time from one of our catering points.
