Scunthorpe United is delighted to welcome man-mountain shot stopper Dan Langley to the club on a short-term loan deal until the end of the season.

Standing at a colossal six-feet, seven-inches, the 23-year-old joins Jimmy Dean’s ranks from National League side Oldham Athletic.

Despite not featuring for the Latics, he’s gained valuable experience in the non-league pyramid over the course of the last two seasons. This experience has come in the form of various loans at both National League and National League North level for Gateshead, Spennymoor and Blyth Spartans.

Langley joins for the upcoming National league North play-offs in order to be understudy current Iron goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons for the remaining fixtures, following the recall of York City shot stopper Maison Campbell last week.
