Scunthorpe United is delighted to confirm centre-back Will Smith's loan stay from Harrogate Town has been extended until the end of the season.
Scoring three goals in six appearances since joining last month, the 24-year-old has made a real positive impact at Glanford Park.
He's netted in each of the Iron's last three games, against Altrincham, Solihull Moors and Wealdstone, becoming the first United defender to do so since Izzy Iriekpen in 2008.
Smith said: "I'm really pleased to have extended my loan stay here and want to continue playing my part in helping the club fight to stay in the National League.
"I think it's gone well so far. I've loved playing again after being out with injury prior to coming here. I also enjoy being part of this group, as I feel we're building up good relationships. I can't wait for the upcoming games."
