Blyth Spartans v Iron postponed for a second time

The Iron's away league encounter at Blyth Spartans, which was rescheduled for Tuesday, December 12th, has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, November 4th, but the date also fell victim to the weather.

Our hosts organised a precautionary pitch inspection for 11.30am on Tuesday in anticipation of the persistent rainfall overnight. The Croft Park surface was looked at, and deemed unplayable, also taking into consideration the forecast between the time of the inspection and kick-off.

As soon as we have a new date for the fixture, we will announce.
