Scunthorpe United can confirm defender Emmanuel Onariase has re-joined Dagenham & Redbridge for an undisclosed fee.

During almost two full seasons with the Iron after signing from the Daggers in 2020, Onariase made 62 appearances for the club, scoring on four occasions.

First team manager Keith Hill said: "We've been busy formulating a plan for future successes and it's all part of the process of rebuilding the squad.

"I'm excited about the challenge of working with the players that remain with us over these final games of this season as we look to pick up as many points and create as many positives as we can ahead of the summer, which I'm also very much looking forward to and will give us the chance to make further changes to the group as we look to get this club back on an upward curve."
