Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce midfielder Finley Shrimpton has signed a new one-year contract, with a further 12-month option in the club's favour.
The 19-year-old came into first team contention towards the end of the season just gone following successful loan spells at Grantham Town and Cleethorpes Town, and after subsequently impressing first team manager Keith Hill in training.
He made four starts for the Iron in the season just gone, plus a substitute appearance.
A local lad, Shrimpton originally joined the club in November 2017 as an Under-16 after his release from Barnsley.
