Scunthorpe United is delighted to confirm the signing of centre-back Andrew Boyce following his departure from Eastleigh.
The 32-year-old pens a two-year deal to return to the Iron and become first team manager Keith Hill's first signing of the summer.
Signing from Lincoln in 2014, Boyce made 37 appearances for United, including 33 during our 2014-15 League One season, scoring one goal.
While with us, the former Gainsborough man also had loan spells at Grimsby, Hartlepool and Notts County before making a permanent move to the first of those clubs in 2016.
The following year he joined Eastleigh and made 207 appearances in all competitions across five years, scoring nine times, before leaving this summer as he desired to play football nearer to his home in the north.
The transfer is subject to FA and league ratification.
