The 34-year-old is a versatile player who can play as a full-back, wing-back, winger or forward and brings a wealth of experience to the club following an 18-year-career to date.
Daniel began his career with his local side Eastwood Town but was snapped up by league outfit Crewe Alexandra in 2007 before a 2009 move to Macclesfield Town, the club where he has made the most appearances in his career to date - 117.
He's also featured heavily for Mansfield Town, Port Vale and Blackpool, with the latter of whom he was promoted to League One via the play-offs in 2017.
2018-19 was spent at Peterborough United before he joined Burton Albion. A notable moment in his two year Brewers career being a first minute goal against Premier League outfit Aston Villa in a Carabao Cup tie.
He spent last season at Exeter City, who won promotion from League Two, and at Aldershot in the National League.
Daniel has made approaching 500 career league appearances, scoring around 50 goals.
