Hayden Hackney's loan stay extended until end of the season

Scunthorpe United is delighted to confirm attacking midfielder Hayden Hackney's loan spell with the Iron from Middlesbrough has been extended until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has made 18 appearances in all competitions since signing at the end of August.

Highly-rated at Boro after joining their academy at Under-10 level, Hackney will spend the rest of the 2021-22 campaign with United as he looks to help Keith Hill's side climb the League Two table.
