Scunthorpe United is delighted to welcome Lincolnshire Co-op as an official club partner for the 2018-19 season.
The brand-new deal will see the dedicated family area at Glanford Park renamed as the Lincolnshire Co-op Family Zone.
The Iron’s Chief Executive Officer, James Rodwell, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Lincolnshire Co-op as a new club sponsor for the forthcoming season. Not only do they provide a number of vital services in the area, but they also give a huge amount back through their community and charity work around the county and beyond, making them an ideal fit as a partner for the football club.
“Everyone at Glanford Park is proud of our excellent reputation for providing a welcoming and friendly environment for families to enjoy watching live football which received the 2018 EFL Family Excellence Award once again. Lincolnshire Co-operative’s wonderful support of the Family Zone will help us to continue to improve on that experience and help us generate future generations of Iron fans.”
The partnership will be officially launched at the home fixture against Rochdale on September 8th which will see the Lincolnshire Co-op as Match Sponsors for the day as well as the unveiling of the new branding that will be in place around the Lincolnshire Co-op Family Zone.
Activities on the day supported by Lincolnshire Co-op include a Taste and Tell sampling session and a Golden Dividend Card competition. One of Lincolnshire Co-op’s junior members will also be mascot on the day.
Lincolnshire Co-op’s Senior Community Co-ordinator Ben James said: “We’re delighted to support Scunthorpe United. The family zone provides a valued service to many football fans on match day. We look forward to meeting them and cheering on the Iron this season!”
