This Christmas, Scunthorpe United and their charitable arm, the Iron Foundation, are linking up with long-term club sponsor Lincolnshire Co-op to support their recently launched Secret Santa campaign.
Ahead of our encounter with Braintree Town this weekend, the Iron have provided Lincolnshire Co-op with one of our outdoor wooden huts that can be seen on arrival at the Attis Arena, in order to collect donations for the Scunthorpe food bank, the Blue Door and the Salvation Army.
In a recent video released across both the clubs and Lincolnshire Co-op's social media platforms, players and officials from United could be seen supporting the initiative, issuing a plea for the donation of much-needed items such as food essentials, sanitary and toiletry products or a new unwrapped gift for a disadvantaged children, they will be also accepting cash donations in order to purchase these items.
