Tickets on sale via hosts for pre-season opener at Brigg Town CIC.

Tickets are now on sale via Brigg Town CIC for our opening game of pre-season on Tuesday, July 7th (7pm kick-off).

The game will take place at the recently refurbished EC Surfacing Stadium and will mark the start of the Iron’s pre-season fixtures, a venue familiar to United. To heighten the stakes of the fixture, the Julie Taylor Trophy will be up for grabs for the winners on the 3G surface.

In the previous meeting between the two sides, Scunthorpe would be taken to penalties by their neighbours, as the encounter finished 0-0 in normal time after a game of very few chances. However, with penalties the deciding factor in this particular fixture, Andy Butler’s side would secure the silverware thanks to several terrific saves from goalkeeper Maison Campbell.
