Steve Bruce and Bryan Robson star guests in hospitality for Legends encounter

Scunthorpe United and Nor-Lait Promotions can announce Red Devils' legends Steve Bruce and Bryan Robson will be the special guests in our hospitality areas for our Iron Aid fixture on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026 (4pm kick-off).

With 20 trophies and between them, including a total of five Premier League titles, the duo will be a prominent part to the build-up to the Legends game between the Iron and Manchester United, with a number of hospitality, VVIP, VIP and sponsorship packages available.

Bruce is one of English football's most experienced managers and a former England international defender. As a player, he captained Manchester United during a highly successful period under Sir Alex Ferguson, winning three First Division/Premier League titles, three FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup. Following his playing career, Bruce managed a host of clubs including Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic, Hull City, Aston Villa, Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle United.

Meanwhile Robson is regarded as one of England's greatest midfielders. Nicknamed "Captain Marvel", he captained both the Red Devils and England, making over 450 appearances for United and winning two Premier League titles, three FA Cups and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. After retiring, Robson enjoyed a managerial career with Middlesbrough, West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield United and Thailand.
