IRON TEAM NEWS

Will Evans moves onto the third of his four-game absence through suspension following his second red card of the campaign against Banbury United last time out at the Attis Arena.

Callum Roberts came through his first start since January following a hamstring injury, while Alfie Beestin and Jason Law have both been back in training following their injuries. Beestin is set to see a foot specialist to discover the full extent of his problem.

THE OPPOSITION

King’s Lynn sit 17th in the table, six points ahead of the relegation zone but are going into this game in great form.

The Linnets are unbeaten in their last 10 games picking up six wins and four draws. In their last clash they got a late goal to pick up a massive point against table toppers Tamworth.

A key player for our opponents is ex-Iron player Jonathon Margetts. Margetts joined the Iron in the 2016-17 season, and has recently signed in the January transfer market after he had netted over 30 goals for Matlock Town in the Northern Premier Division, and has not disappointed since stepping up a division.

Margetts has got himself seven goals since signing and has six goals in his last five. King’s Lynn have the joint second best form in the division and have hit form at the right time and now look likely to avoid relegation. Adam Lakeland’s time at King’s Lynn has been turbulent to say the least but he looks to have turned their form around after struggling since being hired in late-September.
