Scunthorpe United is delighted to welcome back Glyn Sparks to the football club, as he returns to the Head of Partnerships role he departed in April 2023.
With a wealth of experience in the industry, and a number of contacts in the field, Glyn returns to the role after nine months away.
After leaving Glanford Park, he spent a brief time working as Executive Sales Manager at back of shirt sponsors Fabricast Group Limited, before landing a job back in football, as Commercial Manager at York City.
With a long association at Scunthorpe United, Glyn was also widely known as assuming the role as the club's mascot, Scunny Bunny, for a number of years.
Following his return, owner Michelle Harness said: "As a football club, we are delighted to be welcoming Glyn back. As I said in my New Year's statement, we must look to put a professional structure back in place at Glanford Park as we move forward into 2024, and Glyn's return is the first piece of this.
"Well-respected by his colleagues, and I'm sure by the fans as well, I've no doubt that Glyn's return will be a welcome one for all concerned. I have full confidence that he will slot in as though he's never been away, and will help drive the commercial and partnerships side of the business forward immediately."
