Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce the signing of technically talented winger Dylan Youmbi on a loan deal from Bradford City for the remainder of the National League North season.
A skilful 20-year-old forward with an eye for goal, Youmbi was a regular within the Bradford youth set-up before putting pen to paper on his first professional contract during the 2021-22 campaign.
Youmbi excelled for the Bantams at youth level, most notably helping his under-19 side to the EFL Youth Alliance North East title in 2021-22, also claiming the top goalscorer accolade along the way.
With his ability to play across the front three, Youmbi caught the eyes of the Iron during his productive loan spell at National League North neighbours Farsley Celtic, as his direct style of play was shown whilst featuring for the Celts in both the home and reverse fixtures against United this season.
Following his arrival, the left-footed loanee will be looking to showcase his ability in Scunthorpe’s highly anticipated upcoming clash with Scarborough Athletic.
