IRON TEAM NEWS

Will Evans returns to contention following his four-game suspension for the red card he picked up against Banbury.

Jimmy Dean has been able to get rest and recovery into his side this week following a run of four games in nine days, with the majority of players all fit and available for selection after recent injuries.

Skipper Michael Clunan missed last weekend with a hamstring injury and will be assessed, while knocks around the squad have began to clear up. Elsewhere, Maison Campbell has been recalled by parent club York City, with Jason Law also stepping up the intensity in training following a toe injury.

THE OPPOSITION

Hereford’s form has been rather mixed in recent times, with two wins, two losses and two draws in their last six. These fixtures included rather difficult games, with three of the six opponents sitting in the play-off positions. Hereford’s most recent triumph came away to Banbury United as they won 2-1 away from home, thanks to an Andy Williams double. Hereford had two dismissals from their clash against the Puritans as Nathan Cameron and Aaron Skinner both got themselves sent off towards the end of the game, as Hereford managed to hang on.

Andy Williams is in fine form for the Bulls. The 37-year-old has netted 10 goals in his 19 appearances this season and has become a threat in his recent games. Williams got both goals against Banbury United, and also netted a brace against Buxton to salvage a point for Hereford late on. Alex Babos, a 25-year-old central midfielder has netted ten goals from midfield, and has made 42 appearances this season being a key player for the opposition who will be a threat for the Iron.
