Scunthorpe United is delighted to welcome back former players David Mirfin and Martyn Woolford, who will be guest speakers in our latest business networking event on Tuesday, April 30th at 10am.
Following the return of Glyn Sparks as Head of Partnerships in January, he's been hard at work to get his feet back under the table, with this event another step in the right direction in linking the football club with the local business community.
The event, which will take place in the Jackson Stapleton Accountants Restaurant, includes tea and coffee, and will give all attendees the chance to network with one-another, while finding out what the football club has on offer looking ahead to next season.
David Mirfin and Martyn Woolford will also present a short presentation on where business has taken them following their playing career, with the pair now focusing on new ventures in their lives.
