The Iron's final away game of pre-season will see them travel to face Grantham Town on Wednesday, July 26th (7.30pm kick-off).
The match will take place at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium where the two sides last met in August 2021 in the quarter-final of the Lincolnshire Senior Cup. A Mason O'Malley free-kick seven minutes from time saw United advance through to the semi-finals following a 1-0 win.
Grantham, who play in the Northern Premier League, Division One East, prepare for a campaign in which they'll endeavour to improve on a 16th place finish out of 20.
It'll be the sixth of seven pre-season encounters for Jimmy Dean's new-look Scunthorpe side with 10 days to go until the Vanarama National League North season kicks off.
The side have former assistant manager and goalkeeper coach - both at first team and Under-23s level - Kevin Pressman amongst their coaching team.
