The Iron return to action for their third game of pre-season on Saturday when they travel to face Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ilkeston Town (3pm kick-off).
Jimmy Dean takes his side to the New Manor Ground looking for a first win of pre-season following a 2-2 draw against Brigg Town CIC last weekend Saturday in which Cameron Wilson and Danny Elliott netted for Scunthorpe, and a narrow 1-0 defeat at Winterton Rangers in midweek.
So far in pre-season, 21 players got minutes at Brigg, while 19 attained minutes three days later. Kian Scales is the player with most minutes under his belt, playing every minute of every game. Max Kouogun and Danny Elliott were the latest players to complete 90 minutes at Winterton.
The opening two games saw Reagan Ogle, Tom Pugh and Dion Sembie-Ferris all missing out through respective injuries, while Dean Rance returned at Winterton to feature after missing the Brigg match.
The game comes three weeks ahead of the Iron's opening game of the Vanarama National League North season, which gets underway on Saturday, August 5th.
We have been advised that admission is pay on the gate, with both cash and card accepted. Prices have been confirmed as £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and FREE for Under-16s.
