The draft fixtures were released in full at 1pm today, revealing the Staffordshire-based side will welcome Scunthorpe to the Lamb Ground.
Our first home game of the campaign is a week later, when United welcome manager Jimmy Dean’s former club Peterborough Sports on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Scunthorpe will then host Darlington three days later in the first of nine Tuesday night fixtures.
The Iron’s longest trip of the season is to Hereford, with that journey set to take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023, with the reverse fixture on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
Scunthorpe will make their shortest journey of the season over the festive period, facing Farsley Celtic twice in the space of five days. The Iron first welcome the Celt Army to Glanford Park on Boxing Day before playing the reverse fixture on New Year’s Day*.
The final weekend of the season sees us visit Gloucester City on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
*Home clubs can move their fixture to Saturday, December 31, 2023 should both clubs agree to the rearrangement
