Scunthorpe United can confirm we've had record-breaking sales for this season's home shirt so far, with the third shirt also proving very popular.

Supporters flocked to the club shop after the announcement of the new strips and of our new front of shirt sponsors Marshall BMW on Friday lunchtime. Sales have also been excellent online via www.sufcshop.com too.

Also notable was the popularity of the strips on matchday, with many supporters buying and wearing them at the home pre-season friendly game against Sheffield United.

The 5XL home shirt has now sold out but our shop staff has put in an order with Macron for more of these. More medium shirts are set to arrive this week after they sold out too. We will announce when both have arrived.

Our home shirt came out on top of a supporters' poll back in January, with almost 50 per cent of the vote.

The strip recalls the popular one worn during the 1998-99 Division Three play-off winning season, with a half claret, half blue design. These will be accompanied by white shorts and white socks.

The home shirts are available in the following sizes: L, XL, 2XL, 3XL 4XL 5XL. Macron have informed us home shirts in infant sizes, junior sizes, plus small and further medium adult sizes will be arriving and on sale this week. Once they've available we'll confirm via our club website and social media channels.

Our kit supplier have also said home shorts and socks will be available soon.

The third shirts is available in 3XS, 2XS, XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL 5XL and therefore the people who preordered last season can collect their shirts (details here), while the shirts have been dispatched for those who paid for postage. This is a white shirt featuring the names of fans who opted in to be included, and who during the Covid-19 pandemic supported the club by donating match tickets, season ticket money from the 2019-20 season or who paid for a season ticket for the 2020-21 season ticket. For any queries relating to this, please email sufcshop@scunthorpe-united.co.uk.

The brand new away shirts will go on sale later this week subject to receiving them from Macron, and once they've arrived we'll confirm via our club website and social media channels. These are a similar yellow to the one worn during the 2004-05 League Two promotion season, but also featuring elements of claret, blue and black, and will be accompanied with yellow shorts and yellow socks.

Additionally, the goalkeeper kits will go on sale later this week subject to receiving them and again, we'll confirm once they're in stock. The home is neon green, away is purple and third is neon yellow.
