George Elokobi headed a late equaliser as Colchester came from two goals down to rescue a point against the Iron on this day in 2015.
Scunthorpe raced into a lead when Dutch forward Kevin van Veen curled a 30-yard free-kick into the bottom corner.
Irish striker Paddy Madden doubled the advantage with a composed finish after he broke the offside trap before Colchester's George Moncur slotted in from 10 yards to give the hosts hope. Colchester eventually levelled through Elokobi's downward header.
United looked to be in pole position in 2005 too with Billy Sharp and Andy Keogh firing the side into a 3-1 lead at Victoria Park against Hartlepool, coming from a goal behind. That lead was dashed with two late goals, including a penalty, giving Pools a point.
