Scunthorpe's Commonwealth Games silver medalist Gemma Richardson will be the special guest speaker in the restaurant for the National League game against Boreham Wood on Saturday, September 3rd (3pm kick-off).
The 21-year-old lightweight boxer is also a five times National Champion, four times European Champion and AIBA World Champion.
The fact Richardson even competed in Birmingham a few weeks ago, claiming silver at the Commonwealth Games, is a miracle after an elbow injury sustained at the start of the year was meant to keep her out for the whole of 2022.
She'll have some fascinating stories to tell and will be talking in the restaurant prior to the home encounter this weekend.
